The package in AUR of libjpeg is outdated. The current release is 8c. If the maintainer does not want to or cannot update this package I would be happy to take over the maintenance of this project. The maintainer curently is x-demon. I tried to contact them but the server that their email account to is down. I have attached the .src.tar.gz to update it with. Sincerely, Pauline123
