But it is curious that there is no package named "encfs" available, not in core, extra, community, AUR, ... So I thought of creating a "new" one and give it to AUR. But Servers says: "Es ist Dir nicht erlaubt, das encfs Paket zu überschreiben.", means I may not overwrite the package. I don´t want to create a package named "encfs_baumi" or something like that. Wouldn´t be nice. But like I see, I will wait another day and then write the old contributors an eMail, hoping this will help. Baumi Am Dienstag, den 08.07.2008, 03:26 -0400 schrieb james toy:
Baumi, if you cannot get in touch with the maintainer in a reasonable amount of time -- i recommend creating your own version and having cryptkeeper depend on *it* instead of a package that is MIA

But the package is gone and I cannot put a "new" encfs package to AUR, although there is none available.
I would take the encfs package on my own, if no one maintains it.
