I agree that the simpler, the better, Most PKGBUILDs are not worth copyrighting anyway. The key point is to make sure that all PKGBuILDs can be used freely by Arch. The other point is that all previously submitted PKGBUILDs are in a legal grey area if there has never been such a disclaimer. It bothers me that the project is apparently exposed to potential legal trolls, even if it is unlikely that anything will happen.
