It's not enough :) Someone would install just a minimal version e.g., not all of your feature :) And maybe two different package can have two different author, it's not same :) You wouldn't be happy if your package were removed because of a 'similar package'! if it is only fulfulling a similar task but is not the same program than that of coreutils, it probably should be twinkled so that it puts its binary under a different name. If you do not want to do that, just orphan the package.
