Conflicting go package naming

Hello, The naming for go packages seems inconsistent, I can see both go-* and golang-* on official and AUR packages, which am I meant to use as go-* seems to be more popular but according to the guidelines golang-* is what is meant to be used. So which should be used? and why are they differing? is either accepted?
