The packages `python-restkit' [1] and `restkit-git' [2] should be deleted : they are both out-of-date and violating python packaging guidelines (I believe they come from an ancient time, when python3 was only a dream...) They are replaced by `python2-restkit' [3]. Whenever someone really needs a -git package, should he just create another, with the right name (`python2-restkit-git').
Why delete restkit-git if there is no replacement for it? Was it broken? How do I know how to create python2-restkit-git if I need it? Why didn't you create it yourself? -- Rémy.
