In order to have AdBlock in Opera, an extension has to be installed, e.g.: https://addons.opera.com/en-gb/extensions/details/opera-adblock/
Cc'ing the current maintainer of opera-adblock-complete, the other one is orphan.

Opera 12.x does not need the extension to do adblocking. When opera finally brings a 'Bling' based version to linux resend this request because then it will be true the packages will be rendered useless. -- Ike
