Hi,
I have noticed that all the avr packages have been orphans ever since I can remember.
gcc-avr hasn't been updated yet, and wasn't even marked out of date when I checked today. (had to mark it myself and I don't use it).
I would like to move the following packages to the AUR where someone more interested in them will be able to take good care of them.
avr-libc gcc-avr binutils-avr avrdude
I'm hoping to bring on arduino [1], which depends on these (except avrdude, which I believe is provided internally). So don't remove them.
Give me some time and if I don't see myself making the move anytime soon, I'll drop them for you.
As long as someone steps up and adopts them, I don't see why I would move them to the AUR. Cheers!
