We are correcting that issue. Still having two packages do not have sense. Most likely the package named gromacs will be installed in /usr and older versions of the package in /usr/local/gromacs/gromacs-x.x.x. The reason of this is that as a scientific package sometimes you need to use a particular version, the upgrade within a project is not recommended. Hi, Please merge gromacs-complete: https://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?ID=52913 into gromacs: https://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?ID=54897
I'm the maintainer of the first package and after some amends now the second offers the same functionality. Thanks Hector The maintainer of the second one really wants people to have an easy time installing it in /usr/local. I wonder why. Anyway, merged :).
