It seems the package has not changed since two years, even it was flagged out of date.

I now sent a link to the sources (the old place was not available anymore).

How long should I wait until the maintainer updates the package?

I would adapt the package if the maintainer will not update the package.

I also did added the maintainer into Cc of this mail, hoping to get soon response.
