Not really. It is still under "Multimedia", generally. Only in technical circles does it get more cognitive and/or disciplined relationships, like "Electronics" and "Engineering". As far as we're talking about software, it's all just multimedia :)
I'm talking about a purely pragmatic point of view when trying to find a specific software. Often the user is interested only in "pro audio" bundles, but he/she has to look in the midst of a huge number of other packages that have no relation at all, but they are also considered "multimedia".
