Hi, I don't think the forum etiquette rules applies to AUR packages. If I understand you correctly, the point is that it would be natural to create rules for AUR that are within the same spirit as the forum etiquette rules? I can agree with this, but the forum etiquette rules are, IMO, unclear on both the topic of abandonware and also on which laws for which countries are "applicable". Crafting a similar etiquette rule for AUR would surely spark several lengthy discussions and should probably involve more than just one TU.
