[aur-general] help requested
Hey guys, I went to submit my first package, tigervnc-1.0.0-1 and that went well. Then I realized that I forgot to add my name to the top of the PKGBUILD file... Yea I know... So I tried to update the package and couldn't get that to work. (Later finding out that it was because I had the tar.gz file included in my upload and I guess my connection was timing out on a 2.7MB file. Anywho, so I abandoned it thinking if the uploader abandoned it it would delete it, which is not the case. Now when I tried to upload my updated package, it said I no longer have permission to update this package because it is an orphan. My aur name is nmcbride, could someone give me a hand getting the package back so I can upload my update? :D Thanks, Nate

Packages are not deleted when you disown them. They are left in the AUR as orphans for other pick up.

Go to the package's page and click the "Adopt Packages" button just above the comment box.
