Because the developers are human beings and their time is limited. Moreover, 0.3.5 was released just today; it's a bit too much complaining about not having it in the repos yet, don't you think? :) Please give it some time and it will be updated.

The thing is , 0.3.0 was released on 06/23/2008 . Both mtpfs and gnomad2 require 0.3.x and both deserve to be in [community] IMHO . Is there a technical reason why libmtp is not getting updated ? Anyway , modifying the PKGBUILD works for me and I'm not complaining . ----------------- Nezmer <Nezmer@gmail.com>
