Hello,
The monit package in the community repos (http://www.archlinux.org/packages/community/i686/monit/ ) is an orphan for a really long time now. I would like to adopt this package as I'm using it all the time (and like to maintain stuff hoping other can benefit from it too). My AUR handle is jgelens.
Greetings,
Jeffrey Gelens http://www.gelens.org

Greetings,
only trusted users can adopt packages from community.

I think not everyone has adopted all of his/hers community packages yet. As a matter of fact I think I have missed a few myself...if only someone could provide the community list as was back in the AUR time sorted by maintainer...[hint]. Guess I have to go through the whole list again. I suggest all TUs do so, we can have a cleanup sometime after that.

this is confirmed by the 1374 orphans packages in [community].
StefanHusmann, dtw, elasticdog, swiergot have adopted no one package. Xyne, wonder, cmb adopted really few packages. And where is Kessia (even) profile?! She is still a TU or I missing something?

Hello, is there a howto for the adoption of packages? Actually I did not even know that this adoption is needed.

Search for your packages on https://dev.archlinux.org/ - you can adopt them from there.

I'll adopt the following packages for i686. If I've taken something that's yours, feel free to steal it back from me.
skype aircrack-ng bchunk fcrackzip shell-fm

Assuming you have asked Aaron for an account, go to dev.archlinux.org, login with your account credentials, search for your packages and hit adopt (remember to adopt for all architectures).
