[aur-general] Stopping Arch contribuiting
It's with a lot of sadness that I say "bye!" to archlinux. My life is changing ( I will go to live in another city with some friends ), with only an Apple Powerbook (powerPC machine). The arch machine will remain at my sister ( I hope she learn about arch and its pkgs.. and will apply for TUship here :] ). Sorry, in this moment I can't find the right word. I hope you will comprehend me. Thank you all

This is very sad, but changes always happens, and sometimes are great, so.. I wish you the best luck in the world, and you will be welcome here in the TU crew ;). In bocca al lupo!, grazie per il tuo lavoro Now I have a question, what about your packages? you will have time to orphan all of them and wait while other TUs adopt it? or you are leaving right now?, please let us know. I say keep orphan packages in [community] until they are outdated or have a bug that needs fixed. No point in removing good binaries. Allan

I took all compiz related packages (maybe I missed one or two I've not checked it yet, will do so soon). But if someone else wants to maintain them please take them from me again, I'm happy if someone else will take them (or anyone of the upcoming TUs if they pass the voting process). I'd rather not increase my workload on community too much as I would like to devote more time to the dev part of arch. Ronald

Bye Danny, and good luck!
Thank you all !! I hope that compiz's things go to [extra]; community wasn't and isn't the right place. I was the maintainer only for a request of a dev, overloaded by his work ( in the past wasn't the option " you could be a dev " :P ). For other things, I see that _all_ my packages was orphaned, so do what you want.
