Hi, I wasn't contacted and apparently linux-lts-tresor has been disowned/taken over without my consent or any notice. Please explain... Ido

I don't remember who made the request to have it disowned or the exact details involved. It was out-of-date for quite some time (over a year?) and at a minimum it would have sent an email for that. It needed to be updated to deal with many security vulnerabilities.
It was definitely under a year ago, as the last update I made was this year. As for an email, nothing was sent. I believe this was manually disowned, I just want to know why I didn't get any notification whatsoever (until clfarron4 made a comment on the AUR page). I don't see anything on the requests list or on this one. Do you remember how this request was made?
I didn't issue or get notified of the request, it just happened some time in the last couple of months. So, no I don't remember how it was made since I didn't make it. Is there any record of who did in the AUR logs? On Tue, Sep 30, 2014 at 10:37 PM, Doug Newgard <scimmia@archlinux.info> wrote:

I orphaned at least one out-of-date tresor package for someone many months ago and deleted several other orphaned ones. Before the current request system, the people making the requests were responsible for sending out an email to the maintainer. You would have gotten an email when it was originally flagged and when it was orphaned AFAIK.

I don't remember who made the orphan / delection requests for the tresor packages, but I do remember that they were very neglected. The remaining packages are now well-maintained and gets promptly updated to the new kernel point releases. There have been dozens (or more) of kernel point releases since I dealt with the orphan request. I think the maintainer was sent an email, but if they weren't we still would have heard about this many months ago if they were actively maintaining the package.
Daniel, I think you orphaned that package for me originally over a year ago. I don't know who took it from me though. The issue isn't that I want it back, I just don't think this is an isolated incident - there's at least one TU disowning packages manually without following procedures.
