[aur-general] Error on hwd package
I need instructions on how to fix this package: http://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?ID=26913 I adopt and I can not fix what I consider a syntax error at line 174 of file /usr/bin/mkxcfg. Thank you.
Hello Lucas! With yaourt -S hwd, it works for me ? What's the exact error by you ? But just a suggestion, use install command instead of cp. Best Regards, Laszlo Papp
Lucas! I've attached the working/clean file that you can upload to the AUR, it was checked by namcap too. Hope this helps. Best Regards, Laszlo Papp

Ah-so!
COMPLETE="$(awk '/EndSection/{print}'<
Ok, thotypous sent a similar solution in aur.
I patch this file tomorrow.
On the line with install:
http://aur.archlinux.org/packages/hwd/hwd/PKGBUILD
This is ok? install -D -m755 is correct?
Thank you all.

Ah-so!
COMPLETE="$(awk '/EndSection/{print}'<
instead of: COMPLETE="$(awk '/EndSection/{print}'<
And it works now for me. You can patch it in PKGBUILD too.
Hope this helps.

Okay ;) I would write similar like this: http://djszapi.homelinux.net/PKGBUILD 755 permission just for executable files. And of course you can solve this issue with a simple sed line. Best Regards, Laszlo Papp
