[aur-general] kivy packages
At the moment, it’s not clear which package does what. kivy kivy-git python-kivy python2-kivy python3-kivy-git I propose the following changes: kivy & python2-kivy -> python2-kivy kivy-git -> python2-kivy-git python-kivy ✔ python3-kivy-git -> python-kivy-git -- Proudly written in Mutt with Vim on Archlinux. These are merge and rename requests. Who can do them? Any comments? -- Proudly written in Mutt with Vim on Archlinux. Q: Why is this email five sentences or less? A: http://five.sentenc.es

Did you contact all the related maintainers, and do they all agree with this? Regards, Felix Yan

The common practise was to merge duplicate packages in case one of them doesn't conform to the naming guidelines without requiring a permission to do so, wasn't it? -- Kind regards, Damian Nowak StratusHost www.AtlasHost.eu

I wrote a comment under each package about my proposals. kivy was flagged out of date 2013-08-10 and someone already asked if it could be orphaned. So maybe it’s best to just delete it. -- Proudly written in Mutt with Vim on Archlinux. Q: Why is this email five sentences or less? A: http://five.sentenc.es

Comments are informal and likely won't be noticed. The standard is to write the related parties an email and wait two weeks for a reply.
