[aur-general] Package deletion
Hi, My package rbspeex-git was deleted with no explination and no time to fix whatever errors may exist in the package. I was lead to believe that if errors were found in a package that the maintainer was to be given an alert of the problems and time to fix it. I know of at least 10 people who were asking for this package, and it's removal in such an unprofessional manner intrupts service for at least some of them. Just in case there are errors in the PKGBUILD, I'm attaching it for any advice on correcting it. I'm just kind of surprised that some of the people who review packages aren't familiar with proceedures, or just choose to ignore them. What steps should be taken to complain about a member who has gone about the process in the wrong way? Thanks Storm -- Powered by Arch Linux! I see no attachment. I suspect the AUR mailing list service strips attachment. Throw it up on pastebin or similar? — Jeremy "Ichimonji10" Audet
Ack. Sorry about the noise. Just looked at the other emails sent around and saw that there were (two?) other threads created about this same issue. (That is itself annoying.)

And I just realized you might want to use it outside of RockboxUtility and create your own voice files by external means. In any case, your deps and makedeps are wrong, the provides line is useless, you're installing ghost files (the rbspeex{enc, dec} are placed one directory above) and you need to create bin beforehand or add -D to install. Anyway, I submitted a split PKGBUILD which builds rbutil-git and rbspeex-git to AUR.
