Whoop. Sorry about the extra noise, Evangelos. I didn't realize that you'd already replied; the desktop version of gmail shows only two messages in this email chain, but the gmail version shows three. I don't know what's up with that.

When did you email the maintainer? The comments on that page do show an interest in maintaining the package (thank you), but they do not indicate that the maintainer was ever emailed about the state of his package.
