[aur-general] Move community/*avr* to the AUR.
Hi, I have noticed that all the avr packages have been orphans ever since I can remember. gcc-avr hasn't been updated yet, and wasn't even marked out of date when I checked today. (had to mark it myself and I don't use it). I would like to move the following packages to the AUR where someone more interested in them will be able to take good care of them. avr-libc gcc-avr binutils-avr avrdude

I actually *do* use these, so if no-one else steps up I'll take them on. Gordon MM0YEQ

I'm hoping to bring on arduino [1], which depends on these (except avrdude, which I believe is provided internally). So don't remove them. Give me some time and if I don't see myself making the move anytime soon, I'll drop them for you. [1] http://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?ID=8388 -- GPG/PGP ID: B42DDCAD

As long as someone steps up and adopts them, I don't see why I would move them to the AUR. Cheers!

I will configure some reminder scripts for information about new versions and operative fixing. Also, I am programmer, and I can fix some code errors that caused build crash. Pleeeeeeeease, don't remove this packages from community =-) -- WBR Alexander Drozdov FIDO: 2:5045/41.84 Site: http://hatred.homelinux.net Site: http://archlinux.org.ru
