Just a tip: you might as well type "weechat" instead of using sed. I imagine it's unlikely the project changes its name and the PKGBUILD would be trivial to change anyway..

yr right. i'm not sure why i did that. i think harcoding like that strikes me as 'ugly', but you're right to point out that there's no real need. and this entire pkgbuild is pretty trivial, but here comes rel 2... -kludge
