[aur-general] package 'php-imagick' has been marked out-of-date for a long time
The package 'php-imagick' in aur has been marked out-of-date for a long time, it seems that the original maintainer is not interested in continue maintaining it. And the version now in the aur may cause some error as the imagemagick has been updated for several times. I'd like to take the original maintainer's place to maintain this package in aur, and I have made an up-to-date package. But I cannot submit it now. May I take his place?

Did you try contacting the maintainer externally? Anyway, since this has been out of date for over a year and because this is the only package the maintainer currently owns, I will orphan it. But please try contacting seemingly inactive maintainers by mail prior to an orphan request. -- Sven-Hendrik
OK, I'll try. On Tue, Sep 28, 2010 at 9:44 PM, Sven-Hendrik Haase <sh@lutzhaase.com>wrote:

I found that the package has been orphaned just now, and I adopt it without contacting with the original maintainer... On Tue, Sep 28, 2010 at 9:44 PM, Sven-Hendrik Haase <sh@lutzhaase.com>wrote:

Yes, *I* orphaned it as stated in the previous mail.
