[aur-general] removal request
This is more of "should this be removed; if so, please remove it"-request. package-name: epsxe-bios-scph1001 package-url: https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/epsxe-bios-scph1001/ I know that the package *even* states that it is illegal to use said package without owning an actual playstation console, but still... isn't this kinda like telling people that it's illegal to steal your car, but then leaving the keys on the hood and going about your business? Peeps are gonna steal! Not sure if this is issue/concern is actually meaningful in the sense that the package *is very* useful, but... yeah.
Not only that - it's yet another pointless package! All it does is unzip 1 file... That's worse than firefox addon packages or desktop wallpapers. On 26 May 2014 20:29, Alexej Magura <sickhadas.nix@gmail.com> wrote:

It's there for convenience, as are many other packages. Take for example packages that change only one compile flag. Guess we should remove those. -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v2.0.19 (MingW32) Comment: Using GnuPG with Thunderbird - http://www.enigmail.net/

The maintainer here. If Arch Linux even so as *might* suffer from legal consequences because of it, by all means remove it immediately. If not, I don't see the harm in it being there. -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v2.0.19 (MingW32) Comment: Using GnuPG with Thunderbird - http://www.enigmail.net/ iQIcBAEBAgAGBQJThDwRAAoJEB1x37R9kdwnlWsP/2SRx4HGTyenbUy4q4sbfzfT Z6YPXiH9kESjB30SkfxCzVzd3q3tGKlL4ipWsHLpVfyhl5oLmd9d2Os9ejKm7eHK UoPGkWs4rRzJrmPyeE2D1BW4Ge1EK5f7uqE/qPVtkygKLtHbolIZFLQ6FANhLuC1 WF1VCmHzcM9uAMq080/eQ20JAKnSXgpMKhZk/4topjlMvzr+iPoeKYijLZvUt0uD Ynff6sLdQRa/eMjbLFk7pU2+xPeIO+iHA694i7XB8E1xGpR6YeK61YmdHyXVlnkV ukfpL32MSt8X8kD5iru67nRNCxPxHrwj+l3N5IFgr2tpTSL8B1WAHwzpupD4yuxq YMSsjeq5KRBoMRfXO5FDJTqoxa0i5aT9sI2KLSQDPI4v7bFNoU9qMsZQ7eW2tRJ/ OaizfCdSvoYUkIpjE6YyixqeK/mIbZomSDF2v0o07WcQdSTTPTAAv4UyO0gw2OGG 1iVR3lFLnIZrQ7jZp90AMFL4picpO6GyAbJXBootCjlc/EcQ5jyhymb3y8LPYvtV U7/0R9iKCQBXGjblJdI/3xCaprIW1IQtfCwbddfk9U0m4dmDQOaXoPebnzUcn3Sh UvddldUqJf6lvuvebHVY4g82WHAGx8uK6AvL2N6fjWsSBwX69z04uRImdwUaKmUz qSZLjztTS8fBQRZJvOOS =33qa -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
