[aur-general] Requesting orphanage of drbd
I am interested in taking up maintaining drbd (http://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?ID=10081) in the AUR, and the current maintainer has been inactive for almost a year. I tried contacting him via email but he has not responded, so I can only assume that he is no longer interested in maintaining either. If a TU could set me as the maintainer or orphan package that would be great, as I have PKGBUILDS that are completely updated and function ready to be uploaded.

Hello Edac val! 1. You can use $pkgdir, instead of $startdir/pkg, and $srcdir, instead of $startdir/src. 2. You can take a || return 1 at the end of installation (in the next pacman release, it's not neccesary.) 3. You are just Maintainer, not Contributor :) 4. You can take much shorter pkgdesc. 5. In that case put in this, if you can test it, really. 6. After all, you can check with namcap your package/PKGBUILD, maybe not all of the makedepends are neccesary. Best Regards, Laszlo Papp

I think this has been reverted : http://projects.archlinux.org/?p=pacman.git;a=commit;h=597118ddd756426530c3e... so the || return 1 will still be necessary.
