I need the package as dependency in "cryptkeeper". But the package is gone and I cannot put a "new" encfs package to AUR, although there is none available. I would take the encfs package on my own, if no one maintains it. Baumi --
Baumi, if you cannot get in touch with the maintainer in a reasonable amount of time -- i recommend creating your own version and having cryptkeeper depend on *it* instead of a package that is MIA respectfully, -jt On Tue, Jul 8, 2008 at 2:34 AM, Patrick Baumgart <Baumi@gmx.com> wrote:

But it is curious that there is no package named "encfs" available, not in core, extra, community, AUR, ... So I thought of creating a "new" one and give it to AUR. But Servers says: "Es ist Dir nicht erlaubt, das encfs Paket zu überschreiben.", means I may not overwrite the package. I don´t want to create a package named "encfs_baumi" or something like that. Wouldn´t be nice. But like I see, I will wait another day and then write the old contributors an eMail, hoping this will help. Baumi Am Dienstag, den 08.07.2008, 03:26 -0400 schrieb james toy:

This is a bug that has been fixed in AUR 1.5.2 which is currently in testing. If no problems are found by the end of the week, it should be active on aur.archlinux.org soon after. Then you should be able to upload encfs without a problem.
