[aur-general] Procedure for reviving a deleted AUR package
Hi all, Recently the AUR package magic-wormhole was deleted by its maintainer. Because of this, I want to now go ahead and maintain it myself. Is there some procedure to reviving deleted AUR packages? I know there was something about how the git repo isn't truly deleted. Thanks, Yash Yash Karandikar d5c4 1cbc 071b 41b3 f235 da13 f01e 92cd 2390 f369
Nevermind, it appears that this package has been moved into the community repository. Yash Karandikar d5c4 1cbc 071b 41b3 f235 da13 f01e 92cd 2390 f369 Sep 4, 2021 9:37:50 AM Yash Karandikar <nerdstep710@gmail.com>:

Hi Yash, Glad you got it solved. I'd like to share some information on this issue for the future, however: If a package has been deleted, it should still be contained in the AUR git repository. In this case, one can clone the repository in question, make a bump revision to the PKGBUILD and push it to the AUR. Doing this will recreate the package: AUR's git hook for pushes will take care of creating the relevant database records.
