It was probably deleted as a duplicate, because you should update the original package rather then creating a new package.

You're right but Jookia did send a mail to AUR-general to inform of this and Daenyth said he had no time to maintain the package in [community] anymore. Maybe this package should be dropped to AUR if no TU has interest in it. -- Cédric Girard

I've adopted the package, and i'm on the way of updating it. ++

If its dropped to AUR I will take it right now, (love that game).

I'll send you my uqm-new package if it gets dropped to AUR (and if you want it), it has the improvements I noted in the first post.
