[aur-general] xz compression for AUR
Hi, The official repositories switched to the xz format, but the AUR seems to be not ready for this. Will this be done or shouldn't it be ready for xz? Adam Hani Schakaki

to be fair i don't see any reason to switch to xz for source tarballs. those packages are so small even it it use gz -- Ionut

sure, but shouldn't it be the case, that the formats of all packages (src and pkg) are using the same format?
