Do I need to replace ('any') with ('i686' 'x86_64') in the PKGBUILD for inclusion in [community] or is it enought to replace "any" in the package tarball's name?

Just changing the package tarball name wouldn't work I think; since .PKGINFO is still going to contain arch = any. -- Abhishek

That's correct. The scripts will check that the PKGINFO is correct as well (in order to prevent errors). Don't worry, any support is coming. We're debugging it right now
