I emailed the maintainer of the "foobar2000" package on the 3rd of April. I'm yet to receive a response. Comments on the package itself pretty much all constitute begging him to disown or update the package. He's nowhere to be seen.
I'd like to take over maintenance of the package.

Newer releases are based on the 'Nullsoft Install System' and can't packaged as before - but installs perfectly in wine. I would remove it from AUR.
