[aur-general] dockapps.windowmaker.org website is down
There is a problem with dockapps.windowmaker.org for some months now. Consequently some dockapps are broken now since the download url does not exist. Bidulock suggests we include the source tarball into the package for the time being. I know this is against the policy in the AUR, how should we proceed then? The programs themselves work perfectly, we use them on a daily basis. Of course in the meanwhile we try to contact upstream. On Sat, Jan 4, 2014 at 10:29 AM, Brian F. G. I'm aware of http://repo.or.cz but not all dockapps are listed there.

There are dozens of file hosting sites on the internet, the AUR is not one of them. Mirror the files on any one of them.

So you guys will strictly advise against including the sources into the package? Because that seems more logical to me, but I understand that the AUR server has limited resources.
