[aur-general] Deletion request: wesnoth-svn
Hello, Since March, wesnoth uses git as vcs and therefore I think the wesnoth-svn package [1] can be deleted (the PKGBUILD was last updated 2010). It has been replaced by wesnoth-git [2]. Is it necessary for the PKGBUILD for wesnoth-git to contain replaces=('wesnoth-svn') (I'm not the maintainer, I'm just curious). [1] https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/wesnoth-svn/ [2] https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/wesnoth-git/ Best regards, Rikard

There're 19 votes so I guess it worth a merge - so I merged them.

No, replaces are only useful for repos - and AFAIK no repo holds vcs packages in a good way. But it's still good to have a conflicts=('wesnoth-svn') thing for the file conflicts.
