[aur-general] Broken libdbf in the AUR
Hi, I ran into issues building libdbf<https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/libdbf/> on my machine - and apparently I'm not the only one. It seems like the package is broken. It wasn't enough to simply add my architecture to the PKGBUILD, I also followed cassava's instructions to fix the name conflict in endian.{h,c} Since it looks like the original project is long dead on Berlios (and still using CVS), I moved the code over to Github<https://github.com/quentindemetz/libdbf> where it will have increased visibility. I'd like to update the PKGBUILD to use this new source ( https://github.com/quentindemetz/libdbf/archive/0.0.2.tar.gz or https://github.com/quentindemetz/libdbf/archive/0.0.2.zip). I've contacted the package's maintainer. but have yet to receive a response. What's next? Thanks, Quentin

How long ago was the contact try? If it is more than two weeks ago, a TU might want to disown the package for you. Best Regards Stefan.
It was 4 days ago. I'll wait until Oct. 25th. On Oct 15, 2013 5:35 AM, "Stefan Husmann" <stefan-husmann@t-online.de> wrote:
