Hi, python2-mpdclient2 (with basename python-mpdclient2) was an orphan that I adopted some time ago. This is the current webpage: http://incise.org/py-libmpdclient2.html The webpage says: "This library is not maintained and has been superceded by the python-mpd library. New projects should use python-mpd." python-mpd is already in [extra] and there is a whole smörgåsbord of python/python2 and mpd related packages and clients in AUR.
