Greetings, i would like request the removal of the following aur packages: g95-x86 :: http://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?ID=27013 g95-x86_64 :: http://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?ID=26268 for i merged them into a single package which i plan to name g95-stable. The current maintainer of g95 is somewhat inactive, is that true? If so, i would like to request the permission to update that package. Thanks in advance, /*****************************************/ Eduardo Martins Lopes Laboratory of Theoretical Chemistry Federal University of São Carlos Rodovia Washington Luiz, Km 235 - P.O. Well, he / she is responding to comments on the pages for the packages. That doesn't fit my definition of inactive or unable to be contacted. Please ask the current maintainer about disowning them. Regards, -- Chris
Thanks for the quick answer, since you said that the maintainer is responding to the comments, i assume you are referring to the first two i asked for deletion because they are maintained by me (duca). Sorry for my confusing previous email, the one i asked to assume is this one: http://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?ID=7587 the others i asked for deletion because i merged the two packages into one (although i didnt upload the pkgbuild yet) best regards, /*****************************************/ Eduardo Martins Lopes /*****************************************/ --- Em sex, 23/10/09, Chris Brannon <cmbrannon79@gmail.com> escreveu: De: Chris Brannon <cmbrannon79@gmail.com> Assunto: Re: [aur-general] Removal Request Para: edumlopes@yahoo.com.br, "Discussion about the Arch User Repository (AUR)" <aur-general@archlinux.org> Data: Sexta-feira, 23 de Outubro de 2009, 11:20

I understand. Thanks for the clarification. I don't know about the maintainer of the g95 package. The only comment that I saw on the page was from November 2006. Have you tried to contact him? Out of curiosity, how did you manage to merge those two packages? Both of them install architecture-specific binaries. -- Chris
