You have to upload a PKGBUILD with the 'cndrvcups-lb-bin and then ask for a merge..

Also, provide the links to the pertaining packages.

Clarity trumps brevity everytime. I am sometimes tempted to rename one package I maintain (the ee editor), just for that one reason. As an end luser and consumer, it is a lot easier for me to find something called canon-driver-cups-lib-bin, if that is what you really mean. The AUR web interface doesn's allow searching on description texts last time I checked therefore using a descriptive package name is the right thing to do by your users. I rather ask the other maintainer to rename his package, not renaming yours in that incredibly cryptic and convoluted way. For your information. The name cndrvcups-lb is used in the README file. The name is also used in Gentoo.

The other maintainer may feel he is entitled to have it his/her way because he/she arriived first, but when you publish a public work as a service to others, your first duty is to your users.
