[aur-general] [Removal Request] Multiple packages.
Did a bit of a sweep, more to come after this as I'm going through the orphans starting in 2005. For those of you interested in maintaining the AUR, we're somewhat active here: https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/User_talk:Thebishop package: xmms-alarm link: https://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?ID=738 reason: no updates since 2005, upstream dead, no alternative links package: iptlogger link: https://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?ID=1441&detail=1 reason: no updates since 2005, upstream development stopped 2007, depends on netfilter for (2.4 and 2.6x kernels) and php4 package: squidguard link: https://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?ID=1464 reason: replaced by maintained version here https://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?ID=24284 package: klipoquery link: https://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?ID=1567 reason: no development since 2005, depends on kde 3.x and kdelibs 3.x. While we do still have kdelibs 3.x, kde3 has long since gone. package: ksystemlog link: https://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?ID=2206 reason: original upstream 404, has since been intergrated with kde http://www.archlinux.org/packages/extra/i686/kdeadmin-ksystemlog/ package: bulldozer link: https://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?ID=2085 reason: upstream site 404, depends on gnu-make 3.80 (we're on 3.82) package: libcoaster link: https://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?ID=2363 reason: upstream 404 package: gshrooms link: https://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?ID=2379 reason: no development since 2005, depends on gaim which is no longer available cheers.
Removed: xmms-alarm iptlogger klipoquery ksystemlog bulldozer libcoaster gshrooms Squidguard has better naming scheme than squidguard-1.4 If maintainer of *-1.4 would like to take it, it will be great. (Of course I will merge votes then.) -- Bartłomiej Piotrowski Arch Linux Trusted User http://archlinux.org/
