[aur-general] golangide duplicate
There seems to be some duplication of effort between this package in AUR: liteide - https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/liteide/ and this package in community : https://www.archlinux.org/packages/community/i686/golangide/ Ie, I think they are providing the same thing. -- Jonathan Arnold Webstream: http://hieronymus.soup.io Talent wins games, but team work and intelligence wins championships. Hi, Thanks for noticing. I am considering renaming golangide in [community] to liteide or liteidex, but it's a bit unclear what the best name will be. The upstream developers have used all three at times. It's still a bit unclear to me if golangide and LiteIDE X are the same or not. Searching the web gives different top hits, where golangide and liteidex are often used in the same url. Suggestions are welcome. -- Sincerely, Alexander Rødseth xyproto / TU
Hi Alexander Rødseth, because the main binary is called liteide, I would suggest only liteide. Greetings, -- Armin Fasold Twitter: @bebna Jabber: jabber@bebna.de
Ok, fixed. Removed liteide from AUR, renamed golangide in [community] to liteide. -- Sincerely, Alexander Rødseth xyproto / TU
