[aur-general] Delete ipycli-git
Hi, Please delete ipycli-git. It's my package. The reason is that the project is not compatible with last ipython versions and it's not maintained any more. https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/ipycli-git/ Thank you. -- François Boulogne. http://www.sciunto.org GPG: 32D5F22F
From https://aur.archlinux.org/ :
Package orphan requests, merge requests, and deletion requests should be filed in the Package Actions box.
This point has also been brought up at least twice a week for the last six months on this list. Cheers On 29/12/2014, François Boulogne <fboulogne@sciunto.org> wrote:

The last two mails sent before the OP's mail, are exactly about this issue too. They came through the list 12 hours, before the OP's mail was sent.

Whatever happened to the idea of sending a once off email to everyone who has a valid email on the AUR? These constant emails are getting to be quite annoying, but I don't want to unsubscribe from the mailing lists to get rid of them. Regards, Justin Dray E: justin@dray.be M: 0433348284
Sounds like a good idea. Who do we go to in order to get something
That thread [1] died a while ago. See the last message on that thread: like this done? Can any TU get this done, or what? We're stuck until we can contact the right person. Then I suggest we wait until the AUR packages should be re-uploaded using Git, so such a mass-mail can contain two messages in one mail. Regards, Marcel

This could cause an information overload. It's better to send a mail right now, explaining that file requests are done by the web interface.
For the sake of completeness, here is the precursor to this thread, as this thread's title differs from the original. http://comments.gmane.org/gmane.linux.arch.tur.user/35958 -- David Phillips GPG Key 0x7BF3D17D0884BF5B Fingerprint 2426 235A 7831 AA2F 56AF 4BC0 7BF3 D17D 0884 BF5B
