[aur-general] vim-minibufexpl: New version from new maintainer, how to proceed
Hey all, I wanted to install the vim-minibufexpl package today and noticed a link to an updated version on its vim scripts page: http://fholgado.com/minibufexpl This person seems to have taken over upstream maintainership. My question: Can I upload this new version (6.4.0) to the AUR, flag the [extra] package out of date, and delete the AUR version if/when the [extra] package gets updated? Cheers, Patrice

No, flagging the package in [extra] is enough. If you can't wait until it gets updated, bump the version and install locally. :)
