[aur-general] packages vim-*-support
Hello I've got a question/problem. Some packages: vim-vim-support, vim-bash-support, vim-c etc. are in conflict between ourselves. There are a few files that are common for these packages but they're in various version. Whether it will be a good idea to install them to /usr/share/vim/vimfiles/bundle/$pkgname and add to the depends vim-pathogen? -- Kind regards Piotr Rogoża

I'd say that it's a very bad idea. Many people doesn't want to use pathogen. If they're common then consider having a common package for those files. -- Sincerely, Johannes Löthberg PGP Key ID: 3A9D0BB5

Common name but no common contents. -- Kind regards Piotr Rogoża

In that case I'd rather suggest you try talking with the upstreams and get them to rectify it. -- Sincerely, Johannes Löthberg PGP Key ID: 3A9D0BB5
