Hi, tightvnc has stopped releasing new versions for Linux. They only release new versions for Windows and the JVM. The source download is specifically for Visual Studio. See: http://www.tightvnc.com/download.php We already have several official packages for vnc clients and servers: vinagre, vino, x11vnc, tigervnc and vncviewer-jar.
