Hi, Would anyone care to comment on this PKGBUILD? A non-Tu opinion: it is a real abomination. A complete nuking might be a good idea, as it seems it would take less time to rewrite it from scrach than to simply clean it up.

But not needed here. If oce and oce-git provide=(opencascade), freecad-git could simply depends=(opencascade).

Good point, I thought oce and opencascade are two completely different projects. However, after more careful reading I would say that the prepare() function is an abomination. There's no reason to do that, if he used VCS sources, he could achieve the same thing with --holdver.
