This package alongside vaio-control-center-git are both tools that
were used for some Sony laptop specific hardware features. They
required a patched version of the kernel (was the linux-sony AUR
package which I also maintained) but those patches ceased to be
maintained when some of the features were merged into the mainline
kernel. The patches don't work on current kernel versions (3.5.x and
above) and the upstream of both packages haven't been updated (since
2011) to use the new kernel. sony-acpid-git also still uses init.d.

krabat [1] filed a deletion request for qupzilla-webengine-git [2]:
Purpose of package was to provide a QupZilla fork relying on
QtWebEngine as long as upstream's master branch didn't.
As such it isn't needed any more.
Last packager who was maintaining the fork on GitHub as well agrees
with deleting, see his comment today.
