It does not use a pkgver function at all, instead hardcoding some weird date. It claims to be an -any package but builds ELF binaries. It makedepends on packages from base-devel. It hardcodes make -j4. It does not use make install but cp's files by hand. Upstream development is dead, so we don't really need a git version...
