Also, scientific fields requiring high performance numerical computation virtually all migrated to using Python 3, because they need binary bindings to number-crunching native libraries, and the Python 2 ecosystem for such use cases is pretty much dead now. Then the now former maintainer stopped responding to fix requests; later they disowned it. As it is abandoned now and has some errors, I don't think it's worth keeping. I've tried to revive it, but this FreeRDP release from 2013 does not compile with any ffmpeg version I've tried it with (tried like 8 different API versions of that). It's been dropped from the KDE Gear/Apps suite in April 2022. There is no reason to keep this package. The target VCS package receives occasional maintenance commits, so I recommend to keep only that and delete this obsolete non-git one.
