MarsSeed [1] filed a deletion request for texstudio-lcd [2]: Abandoned old variant from 2019 of repo's texstudio. Patched for supporting some kind of subpixel font hinting. I flagged it a year ago, but nothing happened. The package is quite a mess: defines lots of unnecessary dependencies, like qt4 in addition to qt5, python2 and python3 (neither is needed), the legacy openjpeg pkg, etc. It also builds and embeds its own poppler instead of relying on a separate package as a dependency. But it seems this package is not attracting the attention of anyone anymore: 1 vote, and only 3 comments from or before 2019. Also, in my experience, subpixel font rendering is not necessary on at least 1080p LCD screens, as per my not-very-high-end 2016 ASUS 15.4" laptop with such a screen proves. MarsSeed [1] filed a deletion request for lib32-openjpeg [2]: Orphan lib32 package for openjpeg1, from 2016. Has no dependents. This is not (lib32-)openjpeg2, for which there are separate packages. Also, the JPEG 2000 format, despite its fancy name, is so marginal, it never caught on. Web browsers don't support it. Games and regular desktop productivity applications never used this format, nor did interactive encyclopedias or other multimedia content software. I recommend deletion, as I pointed out the problems a year ago and also flagged the package, but no one reacted. AUR has a proper eccodes package for the latest stable release.
