The PKGBUILD does not follow current GO guidelines and is in very bad shape; someone would need to rewrite it, but upstream [0] seems inactive (last commit in 2019), so not sure if it's worth it. It seems to me that this is a niche package that no one is interested in maintaining (it's currently orphan), so I would recommend deletion. Nothing depends on it.
